Our fall activities are getting wrapped up in our preschool classes as we slide into December, gone are the leaves and the acorns and in comes the Advent candles and baby Jesus. The students enjoyed participating in the Reformation Walk and we really appreciated all of our volunteers who helped us get the feel of what was happening in the world 500 years ago. We decided that Martin Luther was one brave, God fearing Saint, but it is still all about Jesus and we are thankful that the volunteers told us this. The Purple and Orange classes are finishing up their color unit. They loved learning the poem “Gray Squirrel” so we had to make a squirrel with a bushy tail and shake our bushy tails. The Yellow class just finished the “clock circle letters”, now we start our “line letters. Parent/Teacher Conferences were held and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing with my students’ parents how well their children are doing in school.
Now we are hard at work learning our Christmas parts and hymns. Come and watch The ABC’s of Christmas on
Thursday, December 14th at 12:00 if you want to watch their dress rehearsal or if you can brave the evening come on Thursday, December 21st at 6:30.
Merry Christmas from the students and staff at Preschool at Trinity.
