Guiding Curriculum Beliefs:

Play is the primary method of teaching with the students. Through teacher observations, the children engage in different materials regularly based on what the children are interested in and materials are changed regularly.

Classroom space is arranged in order to cover many different areas for the children to explore that cover all the curricular areas: science, sensory, fine motor, large motor, blocks, puzzles, manipulatives, games, dramatic play, and a book/literacy area.

Bible curriculum, which is called One in Christ Preschool B from Concordia Publishing House, is divided up into 9 themes that change monthly during the school year. The 9 themes are:

  1. God Blesses Me and My World (Fall)
  2. God Blesses Families (Families)
  3. Thank God for Blessing Me (Communities)
  4. Happy Birthday, Jesus! (Christmas)
  5. Jesus Helps and Heals Us (Good Health)
  6. Jesus is Our Good Friend (Friendship)
  7. Jesus Takes Away Our Sins (Springtime)
  8. Jesus Is Always with Us (The World Around Us)
  9. We Share the Love of Jesus (Change All Around Us)
