Playing Outside

The preschool classes at Trinity have been busy learning about composting and starting out own compost bin.  We collect a bucket of compostable materials every day and dump into our bin. Composted soil is filled with wonderful nutrients for our beautiful Earth that God gave us!  We also read the story Pumpkin Jack and are now watching our Pumpkin Jack decompose in a bucket!  So much fun in the outdoors!

The Wonder of Monarch Butterflies

🦋✨This past week, Miss Helen visited our Lutheran preschool classes to share her love for God’s beautiful creation, using Monarch butterflies as an example! 🦋 She talked about the incredible journey these delicate creatures take and how their transformation reminds us of God’s hand in all things. The children were captivated by her stories and amazed by the wonder of God’s world found even in the tiniest of creatures. What a wonderful reminder that we can see God’s glory in every part of creation! 🙏🌿 #GodsCreation #MonarchButterflies #LutheranPreschool #WonderOfNature #FaithInNature

Meet the Teacher!

My name is Stacy Larsen, and I live in Henning, MN.  I am married to Dan, who is the pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran in Henning, and we have three children: Timothy (12), Teddy (9), and Natalie (6). I grew up in Wood Lake, MN.  I have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, St. Paul. After graduating, I taught school for 6 years in South Florida, where I met my husband.  After we were married, we moved to Wabasso, MN. After our oldest son was born, I did family childcare until we moved to Henning last October. I am currently working on a Master’s-level certificate for nature education from Hamline University.
