Fun & Educational October at Preschool!

October has been a very fun and educational month! We had an awesome apple fest. The children got to experience many fall apple activities like picking, washing, peeling, dehydrating, and making paint apple prints. They especially enjoyed eating raw and dried apples. Deputy Chief Anderson and Fire Chief Ryan came in and taught us about fire safety and geared up so we could see and hear what a fireman would look like putting out a fire and/or making rescues. AND we learned a lot about Martin Luther and the Lutheran Reformation!

Reformation Walk Family Event

In conjunction with the celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, the Preschool at Trinity PTL and School Board are sponsoring a fun and educational family event- Reformation Walk. Join us on Friday, October 27th at 5:30 pm for more than just an ordinary walk! Participants of all ages will step back 500 years in history to experience just a few of the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Reformation.

Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. If you can help please contact the church office at 218-736-4869.

Spring 2017 Program

Pocket Kings and Queens

Mrs. Christensen’s classes get to share about themselves during their week as Pocket King or Pocket Queen.  Students put something about themselves in each pocket of the jeans.  It’s been a great way to learn about our friends!

Christmas Party – Purple and Green Classes

Preschool Christmas Program

On December 15, all three preschool classes combined to perform the program "A Tree for Christmas."  Students shared speaking parts and songs that told about how a Christmas tree can remind us of Jesus.  The lights remind us that Christ is the light of the world.  The garland wrapped around the tree reminds us that Jesus was wrapped in swaddling cloths and laid in a manger at his birth.  The angel reminds us of Gabriel who told Mary that she would give birth to Jesus and of the angels that told the shepherds about Jesus' birth.  Candy canes remind us of the shepherds who were the first to hear about Jesus' birth and who spread the good news.  Round ornaments remind us that Jesus came to take away the sins of the whole world.  God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~ John 3:16
