Fall at Preschool

Preschoolers are enjoying many fall activities...What is better than picking, painting and carving pumpkins? Cleaning out the pulp and seeds so we could roast and eat the seeds, of course! We had picture day, gourd day, fire safety day with Mr. Dean Anderson, we practiced making floral arrangements with beautiful flowers and greenery, and even cut dead cone flowers so we could harvest the seeds for a day filled with multiple fruit and vegetable seeds. The children have been learning about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Esau at Bible time, and Martin Luther and the Reformation for their history lesson.  Learning through play fills up our school days too. What an awesome fall we're having.

Butterfly Days

On September 6th & 7th, the preschool students and their guests enjoyed learning about butterflies! We had Mrs. Johansen bring in butterflies that we got to help tag and release. Enjoy these photos from our Butterfly Days!

April 2018 Classroom News

Enrollment numbers for next year are ahead of this previous school year’s. We have 36 spots filled already! March was an adventure in the classroom as they learned new poems and songs, made empty tombs out of paper mache, and painted a holy week scene.

Easter Party: Students can dress up and wear their Easter hats and bonnets. Parents are asked to sign up to help by bringing filled plastic Easter eggs or some special party food. Please see the sign up sheet in the school entryway. Parents are welcome to attend the party.

Save the Date: Spring Performance will be on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 pm
