Preschoolers Sing at Trinity

Sunday, October 27

Preschool students are invited to sing in church at Trinity on Sunday, October 27th at 9:00 am. We will meet in our classroom at 8:45 am and walk down to the sanctuary to sing near the beginning of the service. No specific clothing is required (school or church attire is appropriate). After singing I will help your child as needed to get reunited with you. We hope you can stay for the entire church service, but know sometimes that is not possible. Following the Divine Service we have refreshments followed by Sunday School for adults and children. Kristin Alstadt (Katrina ‘s mom from the Red class) is our Preschool Sunday school teacher. We hope you can join us that morning.

Weather Reminders

As the weather starts to get colder, please remember to send appropriate outdoor attire for your student. Hats, gloves, and a warm jacket are a must.

Sweet Reformation Party

Please no Halloween Costumes at school. On Wednesday, October 30th and Thursday, October 31st we will instead be having a fun Sweet Reformation day at school. We will create some masks, act out Martin Luther’s role in the Reformation and do some Candy Corn activities. No extra treats or help is needed that day. School will be furnishing the treats for this activity.

Fireman Safety Visit

All classes will have a special visit from a Fireman next week either on Monday or Tuesday, depending on the class. This is a great time to join us in the classroom especially if you are nervous about how your child will react to a fireman in full gear. First they will show the clothing and gear. Second they will put it on. We will also get a chance to view the fire truck.  In the past these have been EXCELLENT presentations and as always parents and/or other guests are welcome.
