December Classroom Update

Preschool at Trinity had a wonderful December as we prepared and presented our Christmas program for our families and friends. We learned and recited the Christmas story from A to Z and also sang many Christmas songs. We also enjoyed a classroom Christmas party. Check out photos from December below. MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Preschool at Trinity Christmas Program 2017

Celebrate Christ's Birth!

The students of our preschool will have their Christmas program on Thursday, December 21st at 6:30 pm followed by fellowship and treats. They will be having a rehearsal run through on Thursday, December 14th at 12:00 pm. Members of the congregation who are not able to attend on December 21st or would prefer to drive during the daytime hours are invited to attend this rehearsal time instead. Thank you for supporting the students and teachers of our preschool!

November Classroom Update

Our fall activities are getting wrapped up in our preschool classes as we slide into December, gone are the leaves and the acorns and in comes the Advent candles and baby Jesus.  The students enjoyed participating in the Reformation Walk and we really appreciated all of our volunteers who helped us get the feel of what was happening in the world 500 years ago.  We decided that Martin Luther was one brave, God fearing Saint, but it is still all about Jesus and we are thankful that the volunteers told us  this. The Purple and Orange classes are finishing up their color unit.  They loved learning the poem “Gray Squirrel” so we had to make a squirrel with a bushy tail and shake our bushy tails.  The Yellow class just finished the “clock circle letters”, now we start our “line letters.  Parent/Teacher Conferences were held and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing with my students’ parents how well their children are doing in school.

Now we are hard at work learning our Christmas parts and hymns. Come and watch The ABC’s of Christmas on
Thursday, December 14th at 12:00 if you want to watch their dress rehearsal or if you can brave the evening come on Thursday, December 21st at 6:30.

Merry Christmas from the students and staff at Preschool at Trinity.

Fun & Educational October at Preschool!

October has been a very fun and educational month! We had an awesome apple fest. The children got to experience many fall apple activities like picking, washing, peeling, dehydrating, and making paint apple prints. They especially enjoyed eating raw and dried apples. Deputy Chief Anderson and Fire Chief Ryan came in and taught us about fire safety and geared up so we could see and hear what a fireman would look like putting out a fire and/or making rescues. AND we learned a lot about Martin Luther and the Lutheran Reformation!

Reformation Walk Family Event

In conjunction with the celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation, the Preschool at Trinity PTL and School Board are sponsoring a fun and educational family event- Reformation Walk. Join us on Friday, October 27th at 5:30 pm for more than just an ordinary walk! Participants of all ages will step back 500 years in history to experience just a few of the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Reformation.

Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success. If you can help please contact the church office at 218-736-4869.
