Meet the Teacher Event!

Join us on Wednesday, August 17th any time between 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm to meet Stacy, our new Director and Teacher, and to welcome her to Preschool at Trinity!

Meet the Teacher!

My name is Stacy Larsen and I live in Henning, MN.  I am married to Dan, who is the pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran in Henning and we have three children: Timothy (9), Teddy (7), and Natalie (4). I grew up in Wood Lake, MN.  I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, St. Paul. After graduating, I taught school for 6 years in South Florida, where I met my husband.  After we were married, we moved to Wabasso, MN. After our oldest son was born, I did family childcare until we moved to Henning last October. I am currently working on my masters in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, St. Paul.

That’s a Wrap

May was the fastest month of preschool by far!  We were busy with field trips and spending time outside in the sunshine!  We were able to go to the Fire Station and had some special Trinity member guests come in and do music with the students. On the last days of school, Trinity member Gary Schmidt came and gave a tour of his semi named Amy! Also, Miss Nikki and Miss Alicia surprised the students with Dairyland and a trip to the Bowling Alley to end the school year! We would like to thank the Trinity congregation for all of the support this school year.  Miss Nikki & Miss Alicia along with the students and their families are very appreciative!

News from the Classroom- February

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for Archer Peterson and his family.  Please keep them in your prayers as they navigate the loss of a child.

January was a busy month! Adrianne Bolland came in and made  brownies with each class. The  students were learning about the letter B (For Mrs. B) and Brownies! Each student was able to bring home a pan of brownies. They had a blast cracking eggs, mixing and eating them!

In February we will be having a Valentine’s Day Party, along with celebrating “I Love to Read” month and National Lutheran Schools Week! We will also be taking a field trip to the Public Library in February.
